Noah Whirley

Pastor of Gathering and Senior Adults

Noah is a pastor’s kid and never remembers a time when he wasn’t part of a loving church family. Most recently, he was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA. For the 6 years he was at New Covenant, Noah served as the Student Ministry Intern and served on the worship team. In July 2018, he moved to Monroe, LA to serve as a Ministry Intern at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In May 2019, Galilee Baptist Church called him to serve as the Pastor of Gathering and Senior Adults.

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, Noah graduated from LSU in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration. He is an avid sports fan (especially LSU baseball) and loves to fish and travel in his free time. Over the years, Noah has had the opportunity to participate in several mission trips both stateside and abroad. In June 2019, Noah married his now wife, Brylie. They welcomed their first son, Reid, in June 2020

Noah’s desire is to see all of God’s people worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth through the singing of Christ-exalting songs which are theologically rich reminders of our great God’s grace and nature. Singing our theology helps drive it deep into our hearts where we carry it not just into our corporate gatherings but also into every aspect of our daily lives.
